Our SBM Variomix 2000-500 V concrete plant did a perfect job near Lake Gigerwald in Switzerland at an altitude of 1,337 m above sea level, where it helped repair the concrete dam of the local reservoir. And it did so in the harshest conditions that the winter months in the canton of St. Gallen bring.

At the beginning of June, we moved it to its new location in Slovakia using 14 oversized transport units. Our concrete plant thus traveled more than 1,200 kilometers, and the transport itself managed to overcome not only the Alpine passes but also the demanding logistics, including customs declarations.

It will be installed here in the coming days, and we believe that it will produce concrete for this construction project just as reliably in its new location as it did in Switzerland.
