SBM concrete plants supply the highest quality concrete for the construction of the Valaliky industrial park, where the Volvo Car Košice car factory is to be built by 2027. The completion of the entire complex will create approximately 1,200 jobs. Two SBM concrete plants are currently involved in the construction of this large-scale project covering approximately 1,050 hectares.

The first of these – the TOWERMIX® 3300+3300 ST D9 650-8 V concrete plant – has two mixing cores, increasing its production capacity. This concrete plant is also suitable for the urban environment of Košice, from where the concrete is transported. The second concrete plant – Euromix® 3300 SPACE – produces concrete in nearby Kechnec. The concrete supplier is VEDOS. The general contractor for the construction is Takenaka.

We are proud that SBM concrete plants can participate in such major investment projects as the construction of the Volvo Car Košice complex and adjacent halls.
